Why are there small bubbles that look like mold on my Fight Soap?
Published by Fight Soap on August 20th, 2010
What you're seeing is not mold, but air tiny bubbles formed from the soap attracting moisture from the atmosphere. Our soaps are made from a lot of glycerin, which is a humectant (i.e. something that attracts moisture). Regular bath soaps do not have lot of glycerin because this ingredient is expensive. This is why soap with low glycerin content do not get these crystals like Fight Soaps do. You may notice these crystals particularly during the warmer months of the year because of the differences between your local climate, and the climate from where we manufacture our products.
